Job Summary
We’re expanding our marketing team and on the hunt for a Social Media Marketing Intern who’s fluent in memes, sharp with their replies, and knows how to engage like a pro. This is not a copy-paste-and-post role—we need someone who can craft punchy content, jump into conversations with influencers, write witty tweets, and bring fresh energy to our social presence.
This is a remote internship—you only need a laptop, a decent internet connection, and a sense of digital humor. If you love social media and have a knack for writing smart, engaging content that actually connects, you're our kind of person.
Core Responsibilities:
Write witty, SEO-friendly, platform-specific captions across Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, etc.
Post timely, smart responses to comments, DMs, and mentions—especially on Instagram and X.
Actively engage with influencers and relevant creators—commenting, reacting, and creating conversation around their content.
Craft clever replies and original tweets that reflect the OneStream brand voice while staying culturally relevant.
Use scheduling tools like Hootsuite to publish content at optimal times.
Participate authentically in niche communities (Reddit, Quora, Discord,
Facebook Groups) to subtly promote and represent the brand.
Launch interactive stories (polls, Q&As, AMAs) to drive engagement.
Monitor and respond to social trends, memes, and platform algorithm changes.
Analyze competitor presence and social performance, and suggest
improvements based on what’s working.
Qualifications:
Strong command of written English with a natural, engaging tone.
A passion for social media, marketing, and digital storytelling.
Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
Basic understanding of content scheduling tools and analytics like Hootsuite, etc.
Familiarity with engaging authentically in online communities like Quora, Reddit,
Discord, and Facebook Groups, with an understanding of community guidelines and value-driven interactions.
Understanding of social SEO—how to optimize captions, hashtags, and content for discoverability on different social media platforms.
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Bonus points if you’re already familiar with the SaaS space or live streaming platforms.
